Terms of Service

The terms for using BizPeel: your account, what a subscription includes, billing, cancellation and refunds, agent (MCP) access, and how to read the research

Last updated: 2026-10-26

Key points

  • Without paying you can browse the library and rankings, read the free preview of every report and read the free sample report in full.
  • Starter, Pro and Business all open every published report and its past versions in full; they differ only in MCP read limits.
  • We update every report in the library once a quarter; new versions are readable as soon as they are published.
  • Plans renew monthly or yearly until you cancel in the billing portal; after cancelling you keep access to the end of the paid period.
  • Reports are research to learn from, not investment, legal or financial advice.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BizPeel (bizpeel.com), a library of research reports about how real businesses grow. "BizPeel", "we" and "us" mean the team that operates the site. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use BizPeel.

The service

BizPeel is an independent research library. It publishes reports about real companies, built entirely from information that is publicly available on the internet (see "Data sources and methodology" below). Each report is organised in six chapters, and each statement is marked as a fact from a source, a figure derived from facts, a self-reported number or our own judgement. Data we could not find is marked as missing, never counted as zero.

Basic figures in the library and rankings, such as revenue and MRR, sync daily. A report keeps the data and analysis from when it was generated; we update every report in the library once a quarter, publishing each update as a new version and keeping the older ones.

This release does not take requests for websites outside the library, and readers cannot start a report update themselves. More member benefits are planned; the pricing page will describe them when they launch.

Data sources and methodology

BizPeel does not hold private data about the companies it covers and does not receive their internal accounts. Everything in the library comes from public information on the internet:

  • Public company materials. Official websites, pricing pages, changelogs, help centres, launch posts and other pages the company publishes itself.
  • Public revenue verification. Revenue and MRR figures that are disclosed or verified through public channels, such as public revenue disclosures and third-party pages that display verified revenue.
  • Public market signals. Traffic estimates from public web-analytics services, search results, public directories and listings.
  • Public social activity. Posts and accounts on social platforms that anyone can view, by the company, its founders and third parties.

Revenue in the library and in reports is the result of two things combined: revenue verified through public channels where it exists, and our own algorithmic estimates. Our models use the public signals above, such as pricing, traffic, publishing activity and growth over time, to fill gaps, smooth figures between data points and estimate trends. An estimated figure is a research estimate, not the company's audited or official financial statement, and may differ from what the company actually earns.

Each figure is labelled with its source and the date it runs to, and each statement is marked as a sourced fact, a derived figure, a self-reported number or our own judgement, so you can weigh it accordingly. We review and revise our methods over time; a new report version may change an earlier estimate.

What is free

Without paying or signing up you can browse the library and its ranked lists, filter and search, read the free preview of every report, and read the versions marked as the free sample in full.

Your account

You can sign up with an email address and password or with Google. Give us accurate information, keep your password to yourself and tell us at support@bizpeel.com if you think someone else is using your account. An account is for one person; please do not share your sign-in.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Plans. Starter, Pro and Business, each billed monthly or yearly. Prices are on the pricing page.
  • Reading. Every plan opens every published report in full, including reports published while you subscribe and the new versions from the quarterly updates. On a report page you can pick and read every past version of that report.
  • MCP access. Paid plans can connect BizPeel to AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Cursor over MCP, within the monthly, daily and per-minute limits on the pricing page (300 reads a month on Starter, 1,000 on Pro, 3,000 on Business; up to 100, 300 and 1,000 a day). How reads are counted is set out on the pricing page. Limits belong to the account and are shared by every device, authorised app and key on it; the month resets at the start of each billing month and the day at 00:00 UTC, and unused reads do not carry over.
  • Payment. Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price you signed up for, until you cancel. If we change our prices, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal.
  • Changes. You can switch plans or billing period at any time in the billing portal (Plan & billing in your workspace).

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep full reading and MCP access until the end of the period you paid for. After that, reports return to their free previews and MCP access stops.

Refunds

Cancelling does not trigger a refund, and we do not refund the unused part of a billing period. If you believe you were charged in error or something went wrong with your subscription, email support@bizpeel.com and we will review it; approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund rights you have under the law that applies to you.

Agents and MCP

  • You can authorise an AI app through OAuth, or create an API key in your workspace, so an agent can read the reports and data you can read.
  • Agents only read. They cannot subscribe, pay or change your plan on your behalf. You can revoke an app or delete a key in your workspace at any time.
  • Keep your keys private and do not publish or share them; reads made with your authorisation or keys count against your account's limits.
  • What an agent reads is covered by "Using the reports" below.

Using the reports

A subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read the reports. You may use what you learn in your own work and quote short excerpts with a link to the report. You may not:

  • republish, resell or redistribute reports or substantial parts of them
  • share your account, an authorisation or an API key so others can read reports without a subscription
  • scrape the site or bulk-download reports by automated means beyond your MCP limits
  • try to get around previews, access controls or rate limits
  • use the site in a way that is unlawful or disrupts other readers

About the research

Reports describe public information as of the dates they show. They can be incomplete or out of date, and estimates and our judgements can be wrong. BizPeel is research to learn from, not investment, legal or financial advice; make your own decisions and check what matters to you. If you find a mistake, tell us through the feedback link on the report or by email and we will look into it.

Company names, logos and screenshots belong to their owners and appear in reports to describe and comment on those companies. If you represent a company and want something corrected, contact us.

Intellectual property

The site and the text, analysis and design of the reports belong to BizPeel. Third-party quotes, posts and screenshots remain their owners'.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using BizPeel at any time. You can delete your account yourself in your account settings; if you have an active subscription, cancel it in the billing portal first. You can also email support@bizpeel.com and we will delete it for you. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, for example by sharing sign-ins or keys or by scraping content.

Disclaimers and liability

BizPeel is provided "as is". We work to keep the site available and the reports accurate but do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your subscription, we will email you before it takes effect.
